Cook and Co. just pushed their latest beta updates for iOS 8 and Yosemite OS 10.10. I’ve updated my Yosemite and here’s a short review on what’s changed. I am only documenting the visible changes, but I’ve provided a Pastebin of the full release notes in case you’re interested.
Wifi bug: The Wifi bug has been fixed. The Wifi doesn’t disconnect anymore.
Photo booth: Photo booth is back and it’s new.
Font rendering: The font rendering is a lot smoother and some fonts have an increased font weight.
Dark Mode: Paste into your Terminal. Log out and log in. To revert back, replace “Dark” with “Light”.
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences AppleInterfaceTheme Dark
Performance: The system crashes less often and functions smoother.
